Pick your destination.
Using Google Maps or an alternative supporting open location or plus codes find the destination where you would like to go. Copy the plus code to the clipboard or just take note of it.
Enter your choice right in the app.
Open Arrow on your watch, tap on Enter Plus Code and input the code you have previously noted. You only need to enter a short plus code of 6 characters.
Confirm your destination and you're ready to go!
Once you have entered your plus code just tap on the ✔green checkmark. Arrow will show you the right direction and remaining distance once you get going steadily.
Alternative: enter destination via Fitbit mobile app.
This option is cumbersome, however, you do not have to manually enter a plus code. Open the Fitbit app on your mobile, tap on your wearable's icon, tap on Apps and open Arrow's settings by tapping on the ⚙cogwheel next to it. Paste the plus code copied from Google Maps or an alternative and tap on Save. In order to start navigation, just open Arrow on your watch and pick the option with the ⚙cogwheel on the initial screen.
Arrow is an old-school navigation app that shows you the right direction just like a compass. It gives you a sense of where you need to go and how far you are from your destination, whether you are biking in the city or walking in nature.
Arrow uses open location or plus codes for entering a destination. Once you get going steadily it will know the direction you are currently taking and will compare it to the direction you should be going in order to guide you. The red arrow will point you in the direction you need to go relative to continuing straight.
Of course! Arrow is perfect for biking as you don't have to stop and pull out your phone to know if you should be turning right or left at an intersection — just glance at your Fitbit watch.
